plus while ninjas are cool and all, Nioh series style of ninjutsu is very resource dependant. of course its not insanely a chore like it is meeting Ninja requirements and fundamentals in FFXI, but I dunno if ninja is the way to go in Nioh 2. on top of that, I have yet to find a ninja outfit, most of the gear is samurai themed sorta.
IMO Odachi is one of the easier weapons to use, and fists is one of the harder ones, so the difference in effectiveness may simply be experience. There's no reason they wouldn't be fine together. Ah well id just like to know how to improve with both in some way. Fist are very fun but odachi is so safe.
